The National Council on Disability will conduct its next quarterly meeting at the Holiday Inn Express, 920 Broadway, Nashville, TN, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2009, and ending at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. NCD National Summit on Disability Policy 2010: Delegate Application Form Due by October 15, 2009

The deadline for submitting an application form for consideration as a National Summit delegate is rapidly approaching. The NCD Selection Committee will invite delegates that include the full range of expertise and diversity. Space is limited so not all registrants can be accepted. Delegate invitations will be distributed starting in January 2010. There are limited Scholarship Funds available: If selected, consumer delegates (those individuals not affiliated with an organization) will have the option of requesting scholarship funds to cover hotel accommodations and meal per diem. Details will be provided in the invitation letter. Application due by October 15, 2009. The application can be found at http://www.neweditions.net/ncd2010/nomform.aspx.

NCD Launches National Summit on Disability Policy 2010 Web Page

The National Council on Disability today launched the new Web page for the National Summit on Disability Policy 2010. It is located at http://www.neweditions.net/ncd2010/index.html. Anyone hoping to become a delegate to the summit in July of 2010 should review the Website and complete the application as quickly as possible. A delegate selection will be done later this fall, but people should assure that they do not miss any deadlines.
